Bexar County Commissioners have announced plans to gather public feedback on several key projects, including the future of the Frost Bank Center and the potential construction of a new arena for the San Antonio Spurs.

The Frost Bank Center, an existing venue, is currently being evaluated for possible redevelopment. County officials are considering upgrades to the center or the option to relocate the Spurs to a newly built, centrally located arena.

Public input will also be sought on improvements to other local venues, such as the Freeman Coliseum and the facilities used for the San Antonio Stock Show and Rodeo.

The Freeman Coliseum, a multi-use event space, is central to these discussions, and upgrades are being proposed to better support the rodeo and other events hosted there.

The Commissioners Court has scheduled a series of town hall meetings designed to provide residents with information on the proposals and offer a forum for public comments.

Officials emphasize the importance of community engagement, encouraging residents to participate and share their perspectives. Information about the projects and upcoming meetings is available online to ensure transparency.
