MANILA, Philippines — The Supreme Court has announced that all examinees for the 2025 Bar Examinations will be exempt from the number coding scheme on the second day of the exams.

In a notice released on Wednesday, September 3, the Supreme Court declared that Bar Exam candidates will not be subject to the number coding restrictions on September 10 while traveling to and from testing centers within the jurisdiction of the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA).

To take advantage of this exemption, the high court requires examinees to display their Bar Exam permit on their vehicle windshields for identification purposes.

In cases where examinees are stopped, they or their drivers must present the Notice of Admission to the traffic enforcer to benefit from the number coding exemption, as stated by the court’s notice.

Regarding the no-contact apprehension policy, the Supreme Court indicated that examinees could register one vehicle for exemption to prevent such scenarios.

The registration process must be completed by September 8, requiring examinees to submit their Bar Examination numbers.

The court also specified that for the exemption to be valid, the vehicle’s plate number must be registered in the database, and the Notice of Admission must be clearly displayed on the rear windshield.

The Bar Examination dates are scheduled for September 7, 10, and 14.
