AUSTIN, Texas– Protesters gathered at Austin City Hall on Thursday to oppose possible U.S. involvement in the ongoing conflict between Israel and Iran.

The demonstration occurred as President Donald Trump weighed increased U.S. intervention in the region. Participants voiced concerns about potential military engagement and urged government officials to pursue non-military solutions.

Demonstrators held signs and chanted slogans advocating for peace and non-involvement. Organizers led the protest to call for diplomatic efforts rather than military action.

Protesters included students, activists, and local residents. Organizers emphasized the need for continued advocacy to prevent escalation.

City officials monitored the event and reported no incidents or arrests. The protest ended peacefully.

Similar demonstrations took place in other cities, reflecting nationwide concern over U.S. foreign policy decisions related to the Middle East.

Organizers announced plans for additional events aimed at maintaining public attention on the issue.

Officials have not issued a final decision on U.S. involvement. Federal agencies continue to assess the situation and its implications for international relations.
