MANILA, Philippines – Arvin Magramo emerged victorious in the Manny Pacquiao Presents: Blow-By-Blow event held at Okada Manila, claiming the vacant World Boxing Council (WBC) International light flyweight title.

The 28-year-old boxer triumphed over former world champion Rene Mark Cuarto in a thrilling bout on Thursday night.

Magramo’s victory was secured by a unanimous decision from the judges, with his strategy heavily focused on two decisive knockdowns that helped seal the win.

With this win, Magramo’s professional record now stands at 19 wins, 2 losses, and 1 draw, including 11 knockouts, further enhancing his status in the boxing world.

The event, organized by boxing icon Manny Pacquiao, brought local talents into the spotlight, showcasing the next generation of Filipino boxing stars.

Pacquiao, a former world champion in multiple weight divisions, continues his mission to create an international platform for Filipino fighters, and this event was a testament to his efforts.

Magramo’s victory over Cuarto was a standout moment of the night, as Cuarto, a former world champion, was expected to be a tough challenge.

However, Magramo’s clinical performance, marked by his ability to score multiple knockdowns, demonstrated his ring preparedness and tactical mastery.

His victory reflects the hard work and strategic planning behind his training, further solidifying his position as a rising star in Philippine boxing.

Another highlight of the night was Eman Bacosa, who extended his perfect record with a dominant performance.

Known for his explosive punching power and swift footwork, Bacosa captivated the crowd with his display of skill. His victory added to the growing anticipation surrounding his potential in the sport.

Manny Pacquiao, in his role as the event organizer, expressed his pride in the performances of the fighters and reiterated the importance of offering platforms for emerging talents.

He emphasized his goal of nurturing young athletes and helping them secure international recognition, continuing his legacy of promoting the sport in the Philippines.
