MANILA, Philippines — Singer-actress Angeline Quinto is set to graduate from college this June, achieving a long-time personal goal she initially kept secret from her husband and family.
Quinto revealed the milestone after being surprised with a congratulatory message during her contract renewal event with Star Music on March 25. The singer admitted she had not yet told her husband, Nonrev Daquina, or her family about her upcoming graduation.
She is finishing a degree in Business Management, major in Marketing, at Immaculada Concepcion College, with commencement scheduled for June 16.
Quinto shared that balancing her studies with her showbiz career and motherhood was challenging, especially while pregnant with her second child and filming the local adaptation of What’s Wrong with Secretary Kim.
She recalled even failing a class at one point and pleading with her professors for a chance to make up for it, driven by her determination to fulfill a dream she shared with her late adoptive mother.
Beyond academics, Quinto is also marking her 15th anniversary in the entertainment industry and preparing for new music releases, acting projects, and a possible solo concert. She expressed pride in her journey and hopes to inspire others facing their own struggles.
