MANILA, Philippines– Alex Eala will face Jelena Ostapenko in the Round of 16 at the Lexus Eastbourne Open on Wednesday night.
Eala aims to replicate her previous victory against Ostapenko, which occurred at the Miami Open. The match will take place on Court 1 at 2:30 pm, Eastbourne time.
Both players have shown strong performances in the tournament, with Eala defeating Lucia Bronzetti in the opening round.
The winner of this match will advance to the quarterfinals of the WTA 250 event. Ostapenko, currently ranked World No. 20, presents a formidable challenge for Eala.
