Actress AiAi delas Alas has confirmed the revocation of the green card application of her former husband, Gerald Sibayan, coinciding with her filing for divorce.
AiAi filed the request to withdraw the green card petition at the same time she initiated divorce proceedings. The U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) granted her appeal to revoke the Petition for Alien Relative for Gerald.
AiAi cited personal reasons for the revocation. The couple married in November 2017 and separated in October 2024.
AiAi has publicly discussed the challenges in their marriage, citing differences such as Gerald’s desire for children, which she could not fulfill.
Gerald Sibayan has returned to the Philippines following these developments. The actress expressed that the legal actions taken were part of ensuring her personal protection.
