After nearly 12 years at Baylor St. Luke’s Hospital, where I navigated through diverse roles in Internal Medicine, Pulmonary Medicine, Orthopedic Surgery, Physical Medicine Rehabilitation, and Pain Management, I decided it was time to take a bold step in my professional journey. My tenure at Baylor St. Luke’s was marked by growth, learning, and profound experiences. Yet, an opportunity arose that I could not ignore—the chance to join the number one cancer center in the world, MD Anderson Cancer Center, as an Advanced Practice Provider in the Supportive Care Department.
This decision was not made lightly. Leaving a place that had been my professional home for over a decade was daunting. Baylor St. Luke’s was more than just a workplace; it was where I honed my skills, formed lasting relationships, and made a significant impact on my patients’ lives. The environment was familiar and comfortable, and the thought of stepping into a new and unfamiliar territory was intimidating.

As an Advanced Practice Provider, I have the privilege of being on the front lines, offering compassionate care to patients during one of the most challenging times in their lives.
