The upcoming Oscars ceremony will include a tribute to the victims of the recent fires that have affected multiple regions.

The event, which has been impacted by scheduling delays due to the fires, will be hosted by Conan O’Brien, who has personally been affected by the disaster.

The fires, which caused significant damage across several areas, led to the postponement of the Oscars nomination announcements twice. The nominations were eventually made public on Thursday.

In response to the crisis, the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences announced plans to honor those impacted by the fires during the ceremony.

The tribute will acknowledge the hardships faced by affected communities.

Conan O’Brien, who will host the event, has expressed his intention to balance entertainment with empathy, despite having been personally displaced by the fires.

The Academy is working with local authorities to ensure the ceremony complies with safety guidelines.

In addition to the tribute, the ceremony will proceed with its usual celebration of filmmaking excellence.

Many in the entertainment industry have expressed support for the Academy’s decision to honor the victims of the fires. Several individuals and organizations have been involved in relief efforts to support those affected.

The Academy has stated that the Oscars will continue as planned, with a focus on maintaining safety and respect for those impacted by the fires.
