SAN ANTONIO, Texas — A 17-year-old Houston teenager has been reported missing, prompting an ongoing search by local authorities.

Isaac Amari Sherrod was last seen on January 22, and officials are emphasizing the urgency of locating him due to a medical condition that requires attention.

The search effort, which involves law enforcement and community volunteers, has expanded across various areas of the city.

Investigators are focusing on locations where Sherrod was last seen, including central Houston, and are reviewing surveillance footage to gather clues.

They have also reached out to neighboring jurisdictions for additional resources.

Family members have expressed concern and are actively involved in the search, making public pleas for help and sharing photographs and descriptions to aid in locating the teen.

Social media platforms have been used to raise awareness, with posts circulating about his disappearance.

Authorities are urging anyone with information to come forward and assist in the search. Specialized search teams, including K-9 units, are being deployed to areas of interest.

Law enforcement is also examining Sherrod’s digital footprint, including text messages and social media activity, for any leads.

The investigation remains ongoing, and authorities continue to treat the case with urgency. They are asking the public to stay vigilant and report any potential sightings of the missing teen.
