MANILA, Philippines — Actress Bea Alonzo said she is enjoying married life as she made her first public appearance since talent manager Shirley Kuan confirmed her resignation as Alonzo’s manager on Aug. 24.
Alonzo addressed her personal life during a brand event on Thursday, Aug. 27, where she joined a question-and-answer session and talked about her marriage to businessman Vincent Co.
The actress said she was the first to say “I love you” in their relationship and described herself as the more clingy partner.
“I’m really happy in my wife era. I look forward to going home to see him. No matter how chaotic the world gets, I know that there’s someone waiting for me at home who loves me,” Alonzo said.
“I’m enjoying this chapter of my life a hundred percent,” she added.
Co attended the event, marking the couple’s first public appearance together since their civil wedding in July.
Alonzo has not publicly addressed Kuan’s resignation, which has drawn attention in recent days.
Kuan confirmed her departure as Alonzo’s manager on Aug. 24 but did not disclose details about the professional split.
Kuan also previously denied claims that she caused the cancellation of Alonzo and Co’s planned wedding in Spain.
Alonzo and Co publicly confirmed their relationship in 2025 before marrying in a civil ceremony in July.
