MANILA, Philippines — Vanness Wu’s record label confirmed Tuesday that Japanese singer Emi Aramaki is his wife, a day after the Taiwanese-American singer announced his second marriage on social media.

Taiwanese news portal ETtoday reported that Wu and Aramaki registered their marriage in Las Vegas in early May.

Wu, a member of F4, announced his marriage on June 29 by posting a photo of two clasped hands wearing wedding bands but did not identify his bride.

“Every good thing comes from above,” Wu wrote. “2026 has been filled with so many blessings. Being able to tour again with the boys, being able to do what I love on stage and perform for you all… and now being blessed with the most important person in my life.”

The announcement surprised fans because Wu had not publicly disclosed that he was in a relationship before the post.

Wu’s label, B’in Music, later confirmed to media outlets that Aramaki is his wife.

According to Aramaki’s profile on the website of entertainment company Hillstone Enterprise, she spent her childhood in Fukuoka, Japan, before moving to the United Kingdom at age 9. She studied history at a university in London and began her entertainment career after graduating, working in Tokyo, London and Los Angeles.

Aramaki released her debut single, “Lonely Night,” in July 2021, followed by “Night Ride.”

Her Instagram account shows that she follows Wu, while Wu has liked several of her posts published between Feb. 19 and June 18.

Wu’s latest marriage comes eight years after his divorce from Singapore entrepreneur Arissa Cheo. The two married in 2013 and divorced in 2018.

Wu is currently touring with F4 bandmates Jerry Yan and Vic Chou, along with Ashin of Mayday, for the “F*Forever 1st World Tour.”

F4, which also includes Ken Chu, formed in 2001 after starring in the television series Meteor Garden. The group disbanded in 2009 before reuniting for a surprise performance at Mayday’s concert in Taipei in July 2025.

Ken Chu did not join the current tour following an alleged disagreement with B’in Music. Ashin joined the lineup for the tour.

The group performed its “F Forever” concert at the Philippine Arena in Bulacan last weekend.
