MANILA, Philippines — 20th Century Studios released the official trailer and character posters for The Devil Wears Prada 2 on Monday, February 2, ahead of the film’s Philippine release on April 29.
The trailer shows lead actors Anne Hathaway, Meryl Streep, Emily Blunt, and Stanley Tucci reprising their roles at Runway magazine. Hathaway plays Andy Sach, an established fashion editor, while Streep returns as her former mentor, Miranda Priestly. Tucci plays Nigel Kipling, Miranda’s assistant, and Blunt portrays Emily Charlton, who has advanced to an executive position.
The trailer features scenes of Andy and Miranda attending fashion events in Paris, including red carpet appearances and editorial meetings at Runway magazine.
The film also stars Simone Ashley and Conrad Ricamora, known for their roles in Bridgerton season two and How To Get Away with Murder, respectively.
The Devil Wears Prada 2 is a direct sequel to the 2006 film, which followed Andy Sach as Miranda Priestly’s assistant. The original film was recognized for its depiction of the fashion industry and performances by its lead actors.
