MANILA, Philippines– Actress Carla Abellana on Wednesday, Jan. 21, 2026, clarified through an Instagram Stories post that she is not on leave from work and remains available for projects after her wedding to doctor Reginald Santos on Dec. 27, 2025.
Abellana stated in her Instagram Stories that she wants to correct assumptions about her work status and emphasized that she does not plan to take a leave of absence anytime soon.
She said in her post that she stands ready to accept work offers at any time and that she has actively looked and waited for new projects.
Abellana did not specify in her Instagram Stories what prompted her clarification about her work status following her recent wedding.
