MANILA — Singer Kuh Ledesma and members of her former band Music & Magic are set to reunite for a series of concerts in Cavite, organizers announced.
The shows will feature Ledesma as the main act alongside original and former members of Music & Magic, a popular show band in the 1980s Philippine music scene known for live performances in clubs, hotels, and concert venues.
Producers said the concerts will be staged in Cavite, south of Metro Manila, as part of efforts to bring classic Original Pilipino Music, or OPM, acts closer to audiences outside the capital. Specific dates and venues have yet to be announced.
The reunion will highlight songs and arrangements associated with Ledesma and Music & Magic during the period when the band regularly backed the singer in live shows and recordings. Organizers described the project as a tribute to the group’s musical legacy, presented with gratitude and respect for their shared history.
The performers will appear with a full band setup, supported by professional sound and lighting, to recreate the atmosphere of their earlier large-venue performances.
Organizers said schedules were coordinated to accommodate former members who are now pursuing separate careers in music and other fields.
