MANILA, Philippines– Actor Anjo Yllana announced on Wednesday that his previous claims about former senator Tito Sotto’s alleged mistress were only a bluff.

Yllana made the clarification after a conversation with Sotto’s younger brothers, Vic and Maru Sotto. He said the discussion led to what he described as a “ceasefire” and confirmed that there are no ongoing hostilities between them.

The actor expressed hope for an amicable resolution to the issue, which stemmed from remarks he made earlier about the former senator. Yllana said his statement was intended to end the controversy and assured that he would make no further claims.

He did not provide details about the discussion with the Sotto brothers.

Tito Sotto, a veteran politician and entertainer, has not issued a public comment on Yllana’s latest statement.

Yllana, known for his work in film and television, said he wants the issue to be settled peacefully.
