The Miss Universe 2025 pageant experienced delays on Nov. 14, after several contestants walked out during the sashing ceremony at the Le Palais Luxury Hotel in Paris, France.

Witnesses reported that tensions escalated among contestants during final preparations, leading to a heated exchange. Security personnel intervened to de-escalate the situation, but some participants chose to leave the venue.

The Miss Universe Organization released a statement emphasizing that the safety and well-being of all contestants remained its top priority.

Officials confirmed that an internal investigation is underway to determine the cause of the altercation and address any underlying concerns among participants.

The pageant, which features representatives from more than 90 countries, is one of the most prominent annual events in the global beauty industry.

A spokesperson for Miss Universe 2025 confirmed the incident and reiterated the organization’s commitment to maintaining a respectful and fair competition.

The walkout drew widespread attention on social media, with fans expressing concern about its potential impact on the event’s schedule.

Organizers announced plans to release an updated timetable for the remaining pageant activities and assured the public that the competition would continue as planned, culminating in the crowning ceremony on November 30, 2025.

As of press time, contestants who left the venue had not returned, and officials continue efforts to restore normalcy ahead of the next pageant event.
