Juan Gomez de Liano signed a three-year contract with the Converge FiberXers on September 13, 2023, following his selection as the second overall pick in the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) Rookie Draft.

The deal was finalized after Gomez de Liano and his agent, Marvin Espiritu, met with Pampanga Vice Governor Dennis “Delta” Pineda, who serves as the team’s coach, and team supporter Frank Lao. Converge offered the contract to secure the rookie guard as part of its roster for the upcoming PBA season.

The agreement is Gomez de Liano’s longest professional contract and reflects Converge’s effort to strengthen its lineup with new talent.

Gomez de Liano, a former University of the Philippines standout and Gilas Pilipinas player, is expected to bring scoring and playmaking skills to the FiberXers. His addition comes as the team looks to build a competitive campaign in the new season.
