Dallas, Texas – Several streets in Dallas experienced closures today as filming for the second season of “Landman” commenced. The city confirmed that production will take place in the Knox Henderson neighborhood and the Arts District.

The city’s announcement highlighted that these closures would facilitate scenes being shot for the popular television series. The Knox Henderson area and the Arts District are two of the busiest neighborhoods in Dallas.

The series “Landman” has gained attention for its realistic portrayal of the oil industry and its impact on communities. It features a storyline that resonates with audiences due to its connection with real-world events.

Production activities are set to take place at 2200 Flora Street, between 9 a.m. and 10 p.m. today. Additionally, filming is scheduled inside and outside Michelin-recommended restaurant, Mister Charles.

In addition to Dallas, filming for “Landman” season 2 is taking place in Fort Worth. The Fort Worth locations include the Omni Fort Worth Hotel at 1300 Houston Street. The filming there is happening from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m.

Several streets in Fort Worth are also experiencing closures due to the filming. These include the east curb at West 14th Street between Throckmorton Street and Houston Street. The shooting in Fort Worth also involves the use of various city streets.

The series “Landman” is produced by Taylor Sheridan, known for his work on other acclaimed projects such as “Yellowstone.” The show received positive reviews for its authentic depiction of the challenges and intricacies of the oil business.

Filming in North Texas continues, with other notable locations including TCU’s campus and the First United Methodist Church in Springtown. The production has a base in Fort Worth, with filming extending across the region.

In addition to its North Texas locations, “Landman” has expanded filming to Oklahoma. This expansion is part of the show’s effort to capture the diverse landscapes and settings integral to its narrative.
