Authorities rescued 19 neglected dogs from a home in Bastrop County, Texas, on a recent Tuesday.

The dogs suffered from flea infestations, parasites, and infections in their skin, eyes, and ears.

Rescue teams brought the animals to the Austin Humane Society for medical care. Some are now ready for adoption. In total, officials removed over 30 dogs from the property, which operated as an alleged breeding site.

The Austin Humane Society continues to care for the dogs and is helping place them in new homes. Investigators are reviewing conditions at the property. The case underscores the need for strong animal welfare efforts and community support.
