MANILA, Philippines — Justice Secretary Jesus Crispin Remulla announced that Representative Zaldy Co of the Ako Bicol Partylist has been placed on the Immigration Lookout Bulletin Order (ILBO) while currently abroad.

The Department of Justice (DOJ) issued the order to monitor Co’s travel movements. The ILBO directs the Bureau of Immigration to alert authorities of any attempts by individuals on the list to enter or leave the country.

Officials did not disclose Co’s current location or provide specific reasons for his inclusion in the list. As of the announcement, no charges have been filed against him.

Co’s office and the Ako Bicol Partylist have not released statements in response. Remulla did not indicate if additional legal actions are being considered.

The lookout bulletin serves as a preventive measure for individuals under investigation or subject to monitoring. It does not constitute a hold departure order, which would require a court directive.

The DOJ continues to oversee the implementation of lookout bulletins through coordination with immigration authorities.
