Carlos Baylon Jr. bags wushu bronze for PH at World Games

Carlos Baylon Jr. of the Philippines earned a bronze medal in the men’s wushu sanda -56 kg category at the 2025 World Games on Tuesday. The match took place at the Hi-Tech Zone Sports Centre Gymnasium in China.

Baylon secured a 2-0 win over Islam Karimov of Kazakhstan, using a combination of takedowns and effective striking to control the bout.

This marks a notable achievement for the Philippines in the ongoing international competition.
