HOLLYWOOD — Actor Taylor Lautner and his wife Taylor Dome-Lautner are expecting their first child, the couple announced on Friday, March 27.
Sharing intimate photos on Instagram from a grassy field and showing ultrasound images, the pair captioned the post, “What’s better than two Taylor Lautners?” The announcement has since garnered 2.6 million likes.
Lautner married Dome, a mental health advocate, in November 2022. Dome adopted Lautner’s surname after their wedding, making them both Taylor Lautner. The shared name initially amused the couple and has since become an important part of their identity together. They also co-host the wellness and relationships podcast “The Squeeze.”
Lautner previously dated singer-songwriter Taylor Swift in 2009, inspiring media speculation that her song “Back to December” was written about him.
The actor rose to fame for playing Jacob Black in The Twilight Saga alongside Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson. Prior to that, he appeared in family films like The Adventures of Sharkboy and Lavagirl and continued acting in television and film, including the action-comedy series Cuckoo.
