MANILA, Philippines– Three air assets registered under former lawmaker Elizaldy “Zaldy” Co have departed the Philippines, the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) announced on Oct. 29.
The aircraft include two AgustaWestland helicopters now located in Kota Kinabalu, Malaysia, and a Gulfstream aircraft stationed in Singapore since August 16.
CAAP reported the locations as part of its routine monitoring of registered aircraft and affirmed continued oversight to ensure compliance with aviation regulations.
Co previously served as a representative of the Ako Bicol party-list and resigned from his political post before the aircraft departures. Authorities have not released information regarding the reasons for the relocation of the air assets.
