AUSTIN, Texas — Vice President JD Vance is expected to travel to Austin on Tuesday to record an episode of “The Joe Rogan Experience,” according to CBS News.
A CBS News White House team member reported that a source familiar with the matter confirmed Vance’s plans.
Vance had been scheduled to appear on Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C., on Tuesday but canceled those plans a day earlier, citing a scheduling conflict.
A Federal Aviation Administration temporary flight restriction also points to a high-level visit to Austin. The notice, issued for “VIP Movement,” restricts aircraft operations within a seven-mile radius of Austin-Bergstrom International Airport from 11:45 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Central time.
Joe Rogan records his podcast from a studio in Austin.
