WASHINGTON — US President Donald Trump said Friday that American forces will carry out intense strikes against Iranian targets in the coming days, as the ongoing conflict in the Middle East enters its third week.
“We’re going to be hitting them very hard over the next week,” Trump told Fox News Radio, signaling a potential escalation in military operations.
The remarks come amid reports that the US and Israeli forces have already struck more than 15,000 targets in Iran, according to the Pentagon.
Officials have not yet provided details on the specific targets or timing of upcoming operations.
This remains a developing story.
