United States President Donald Trump arrived in Switzerland aboard a U.S. government aircraft following a delay caused by a last-minute switch of planes linked to the Air Force One fleet, according to a reporter traveling with the presidential press pool.

Trump flew from the United States to Switzerland for a scheduled visit that included international engagements. The aircraft departed later than planned after officials directed a change from one presidential aircraft to another before takeoff.

Officials did not immediately explain the reason for the aircraft switch, which occurred while Trump and members of the traveling press pool were preparing for the transatlantic flight. No formal statement addressing the change had been released from flight or White House officials at the time of arrival.

During the flight, a reporter aboard the aircraft said the lights in the press cabin briefly went out after takeoff. Pool notes indicated that no injuries were reported and that no emergency procedures were initiated. Crew members did not provide an immediate explanation for the temporary lighting issue.

According to pool reports, operations in the main cabin used for Trump and senior staff continued under standard security and flight protocols. Officials also did not release technical details regarding the lighting issue after landing.

The aircraft landed in Switzerland under stable weather conditions, where ground crews guided it to a secure area designated for official and state flights. U.S. and Swiss security personnel were present on the tarmac upon arrival.

Trump exited the aircraft under security escort and proceeded to his next scheduled engagement. Members of the press pool exited afterward and moved to a designated media area.

Press pool reports said the delay affected the timing of Trump’s arrival but did not result in the cancellation of scheduled events. Officials noted that aviation maintenance and security reviews are routine for presidential travel and can lead to last-minute operational decisions.

No government agency reported any safety incident or emergency declaration related to the flight as of the latest pool dispatch.
