WASHINGTON, D.C. — President Donald Trump made a public appearance on Thursday, distributing fast food to federal law enforcement officers in the nation’s capital amid heightened security measures across the city.
During the visit, Trump handed out burgers and pizza to a large group of uniformed officers.
The event occurred as Washington, D.C. continues to experience an increased law enforcement presence due to recent security concerns and ongoing discussions surrounding crime and public safety.
Trump’s food distribution was intended as a gesture of appreciation for the officers’ service. Witnesses reported a sizable turnout of law enforcement personnel at the scene, where the former president engaged directly with attendees.
