Trump sets 50‑day countdown for Russia‑Ukraine deal

WASHINGTON, United States — President Donald Trump on Monday demanded that Russia conclude its military operations in Ukraine within 50 days, warning of severe economic sanctions if compliance is not met.

Trump announced plans to increase arms support to Ukraine through NATO, expressing dissatisfaction with President Vladimir Putin. The United States aims to pressure Russia into a resolution by threatening further sanctions.

Trump’s statement highlighted his frustration with the ongoing conflict and his expectations for a peaceful resolution. The U.S. seeks to bolster Ukraine’s defense capabilities as part of this initiative.
