New hospital rankings in Texas have been released by U.S. News & World Report, identifying leading healthcare institutions in the state and the Dallas-Fort Worth area.
Houston Methodist Hospital ranks first in Texas and appears on national lists for performance in multiple medical specialties. UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas is ranked second in the state and is recognized for its performance in neurology and neurosurgery, where it ranks ninth nationwide.
In the Dallas-Fort Worth area, UT Southwestern Medical Center remains the highest-ranked hospital for the ninth consecutive year. It is recognized in 12 medical specialties, the most among Texas hospitals.
Baylor University Medical Center is ranked third in Texas and maintains a high position in the Dallas-Fort Worth region. Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Dallas ranks fourth in the metro area, followed by Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Southwest Fort Worth at fifth.
Medical City Dallas and Methodist Dallas Medical Center are also included in the regional rankings. Medical City Dallas is sixth, and Methodist Dallas Medical Center ranks eighth.
Children’s Medical Center Dallas is noted for pediatric services. Baylor Scott & White Health is also mentioned for its network and specialty care across Texas.
