US popstar Taylor Swift revealed her 12th studio album, The Life of a Showgirl, through a unique “pre pre-order” announcement shortly after midnight on Tuesday via her official website.

Her online store showcased blurred images of the album formats—including vinyl, CD, and cassette tape—each overlaid with a glittery orange lock. The album artwork is set to be revealed at a later date.

A disclaimer on the site states that the official release date is yet to be announced, but the album is expected to ship before October 13.

In a video shared on Instagram, Swift held up a vinyl copy of the album with the cover fully blurred and said, “So I wanted to show you something. This is my brand new album The Life of a Showgirl.”

The clip was part of an episode of the New Heights podcast, hosted by Swift’s boyfriend, American football player Travis Kelce, and his brother Jason Kelce, a former NFL player.

When Taylor introduced the album, Travis Kelce enthusiastically exclaimed, “TS12!” signaling this as her 12th studio project.
