Taylor police on Wednesday responded to a bomb threat at an H-E-B grocery store in Taylor, Texas, prompting an investigation into the nature and source of the threat.

Officers established a perimeter around the store and directed customers and employees away from the area to ensure public safety. Police searched the premises and nearby surroundings for suspicious items or devices while coordinating with H-E-B management on safety procedures.

Investigators worked to identify who made the threat, why the store was targeted, and whether any potential device was involved. Authorities assessed the need for specialized explosive detection units and monitored traffic and access points during the investigation.

Officials said they would provide additional updates once details of the threat and the results of the search were confirmed.
