DMW issues new rules for residential support workers bound for Saudi Arabia
The Department of Migrant Workers (DMW) in the Philippines has introduced new guidelines for residential support workers and cleaners in Saudi Arabia. These measures aim to enhance the protection and welfare of overseas Filipino workers (OFWs). The guidelines ensure competitive wages, benefits, and better working conditions. Workers will receive skilled worker visas, health insurance, and access to free emergency medical services. The guidelines also require employers to appoint welfare desk officers to monitor workers’ conditions, ensuring fairness and support for OFWs in Saudi Arabia.
