Suspect Arrested in Splendora Was Out on Bond for Louisiana Murder

A routine traffic stop in Splendora led to the arrest of a suspect who was out on bond for murder in Louisiana. The Splendora Police Department announced that 19-year-old Immanuel Dockery of Tallulah, LA, was taken into custody after officers found illegal narcotics and a loaded gun in his car.

The incident occurred on Saturday night when an officer pulled over Dockery’s vehicle for a minor traffic violation. During the stop, the officer obtained probable cause to search the vehicle, uncovering the illegal items.

Dockery was charged with unlawful possession of a weapon and possession of marijuana. Further investigation revealed his connection to a murder case in Louisiana, for which he was out on bond.

“This incident underscores the importance of our officers’ vigilance and dedication to keeping our community safe,” the Splendora Police Department said in a statement.
