MANILA, Philippines — The promotional team behind the upcoming Superman film from DC Studios included custom-made model jeepneys in their visit to the Philippines as part of a global promotional campaign.

The model jeepneys, designed in Superman’s signature blue and red colors, each feature a cape attached to the rear, symbolizing elements associated with the superhero character. The vehicles were created specifically for the Philippines leg of the tour.

The jeepney, a widely recognized mode of public transportation in the Philippines, was used to incorporate local cultural symbols into the film’s international promotional efforts.

The Philippines is one of several international stops on the promotional circuit for the new Superman film. According to DC Studios, the global tour aims to build awareness of the film’s release in multiple markets.

DC Studios has not released further details regarding the extent of cultural collaborations in other countries featured on the tour.

The upcoming Superman film is part of a new lineup of titles under DC Studios. The release date for the film has been announced as part of the studio’s broader rollout strategy.
