MANILA, Philippines– Sofia Trazona, the transgender child of former SexBomb Girls member Izzy Trazona, boldly declared her pride in her identity following comments from Alvin Aragon defending his wife’s alleged lack of support for Sofia as a trans woman.

Alvin faced backlash after stating in a recent interview that “God judged homosexuality,” referencing the biblical story of Sodom and Gomorrah, while supporting Izzy’s stance.

In response, Sofia posted on Instagram on February 16: “Trans and proud,” accompanied by a transgender flag emoji.

Sofia also used TikTok to voice her admiration for the SexBomb Girls, countering Alvin’s earlier remarks criticizing the group’s image, dances, and wardrobe.

“One thing I love about SexBomb is that people don’t see them because of their clothes. They see them more than the clothes, beyond the clothes, they see them as empowering women… It gives them confidence,” she said.

Currently, Sofia and Izzy maintain a complicated relationship. They have kept in touch via text following Izzy’s surprise appearance at the SexBomb Girls’ reunion concert, but they have yet to meet in person.

As criticism toward Alvin continues, Izzy has reaffirmed her faith publicly on social media.
