Severe weather flips mobile homes in Gunter, Texas

GUNTER, Texas — Severe weather impacted Gunter on Tuesday, overturning mobile homes and campers, according to the Grayson County Sheriff’s Office.

Authorities reported wind damage to trees and infrastructure. The National Weather Service has not confirmed a tornado.

Emergency personnel responded to calls from residents. Some residents were displaced, and local officials are arranging shelter and assistance.

Utility crews are repairing damaged lines and equipment. Power outages were reported in multiple areas.

Hospitals treated individuals for storm-related injuries. No deaths have been reported.

Cleanup operations are underway. Local agencies and organizations are distributing supplies and assisting with debris removal.

The Grayson County Sheriff’s Office is working with other agencies to assess damage. An official report is expected.
