Authorities in Fort Bend County are searching for an 11-year-old boy reported missing Wednesday morning.

The Fort Bend County Sheriff’s Office confirmed that Tyrek Jackson was last seen around 6 a.m. in the 3900 block of Teal Run Place Court in Fresno, Texas.

Tyrek Jackson was wearing grey shorts and a grey shirt when he was last seen. Investigators reported no indication of foul play but want to locate him to ensure his safety.

Anyone with information on his location is asked to contact the Fort Bend County Sheriff’s Office non-emergency line at 281-341-4665 and select option 1.

Deputies have canvassed the neighborhood and surrounding areas where he was last seen. Residents in the area have been asked to report any possible sightings or information.

Volunteers have joined the search effort as authorities continue to coordinate the operation. The Sheriff’s Office will release updates as the search continues.

Officials have not issued an Amber Alert because the criteria for an abduction have not been met.
