HOUSTON, Texas — Seafood City Supermarket in Houston has reopened its doors after a brief temporary closure earlier this week.
The closure came after a small fire reportedly broke out in the store’s barbecue pit area, affecting its exhaust duct system. Repairs were immediately made, prompting the supermarket to suspend its “Late Night Madness” event until further notice.
Store representative Anthony Guevara confirmed the reopening through a community post, assuring customers that Seafood City is once again ready to serve shoppers and the local Filipino community.
