Downtown Austin sees ‘Save Tesla Fire Musk’ banner in mid-air protest

AUSTIN, Texas– A plane carrying a banner with the message “Save Tesla Fire Musk” flew over downtown Austin, Texas, on Monday.

Witnesses reported seeing the banner in the skies over the city during the afternoon hours.

The banner’s message called for the firing of Elon Musk, the current CEO of Tesla, Inc.

The flight path took the aircraft over several landmarks in Austin, including the Texas State Capitol and Lady Bird Lake.

Local authorities confirmed that the flight was conducted with proper clearance and adhered to aviation regulations.

The flight duration lasted approximately one hour, with the plane looping several times over the central business district.
