Sandara Park has responded to claims from her former 2NE1 bandmate Park Bom, denying any involvement with drugs.
On Wednesday, March 4, Sandara posted on her Instagram Story in English and Korean: “I have never used drugs. I wish her well.” The singer also unfollowed Bom on Instagram, while Bom reciprocated by unfollowing Sandara and their 2NE1 bandmates CL and Minzy, now only following actor Lee Min-ho.
The controversy stems from Bom’s recent assertion that Sandara was being used as a scapegoat for Bom’s alleged drug use. Bom’s history includes a 2010 case involving Adderall, prescribed for her ADHD, which prompted an investigation but ultimately saw charges dropped.
Sandara and Bom were both members of the iconic K-pop group 2NE1, which also includes CL and Minzy. The group is credited with popularizing the “girl crush” concept in K-pop and remains a significant influence in the industry.
