SAN ANTONIO, Texas — Local restaurants, bars, and food service businesses in San Antonio are joining forces to aid flood victims in Kerr County, following recent severe flooding that caused widespread damage across the region.

A number of establishments have pledged to donate a percentage of their sales to the Kerr County Flood Relief Fund, while others are hosting food drives and awareness campaigns to support those affected. These efforts are part of a larger regional response that includes contributions from corporate and nonprofit sectors.

The San Antonio Food Bank is leading coordination efforts, working alongside local restaurants and businesses to ensure that donations and supplies reach families in need. Participating establishments are donating proceeds from selected menu items or sales during designated periods, while others are collecting non-perishable goods and essential items for distribution.

H-E-B, one of Texas’s largest grocery chains, has pledged $5 million toward flood recovery efforts, with $2 million earmarked specifically for Kerr County.

In addition to financial aid and food drives, many San Antonio businesses are using social media platforms to share information about relief efforts and encourage customer participation. Community members are being urged to donate, volunteer, or share posts to help raise awareness.

Relief efforts remain ongoing, and additional contributions from the public and private sectors are expected in the coming weeks.
