SAN ANTONIO — The family of Alan Thompson is offering a $100,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of those responsible for his 2018 murder.

Thompson, 25, was fatally shot while driving a friend home in the early hours of November 2018. Authorities believe the shooting was linked to a fight that occurred earlier that night, though investigators say Thompson was not involved in the altercation.

San Antonio Crime Stoppers is working with the Thompson family to gather new leads. Thompson’s mother, Teresa Thompson, has kept the case in the public eye through billboards, postcards, and other awareness campaigns.

Officials stress that tips can be submitted anonymously through San Antonio Crime Stoppers. The Thompson family and authorities continue to appeal to the community for assistance in bringing those responsible to justice.
