Rose-Ann Aragon, a Filipina-American multimedia journalist, will serve as one of the Masters of Ceremonies at the Philippine-American Chamber of Commerce Texas (PACC Texas) 15th Anniversary Gala and State Awards. Aragon is well known for her work in journalism, particularly for her role at KPRC-TV in Houston, Texas. She joined KPRC in 2017 and quickly gained recognition for her coverage of significant events, including space missions with NASA and issues related to school safety. One of her most notable projects during her time at KPRC was the “Generation Under Fire” series, which focused on school safety in the United States. Aragon’s work on this series earned her a Lone Star Award, underscoring her ability to address critical issues in her reporting.
Before her time at KPRC, Aragon began her career as a multimedia journalist at WEEK/WHOI-TV in Illinois. She later moved to Cincinnati, where she continued to establish herself in the field of broadcast journalism. She co-founded chapters of UniPro (Pilipino American Unity for Progress) in Chicago and Texas.
