MANILA, Philippines — Rhenz Abando has re-signed with the Anyang JungKwanJang Red Boosters for the 2026–27 season, the club announced on Friday.
The agreement keeps Abando in the Korean Basketball League after he helped Anyang reach the semifinals this season.
Anyang was eliminated in the semifinals by Busan KCC Egis in a four-game series.
Abando averaged 10.8 points and 5.0 rebounds per game in the semifinals.
For the season, he posted averages of 7.6 points and 3.7 rebounds as Anyang finished with a 35–19 record and secured the second seed in the regular season standings.
Abando is a former standout of the Letran Knights.
In related roster moves in the KBL, JD Cagulangan left Suwon KT Sonicboom, while Justin Gutang re-signed with the Seoul Samsung Thunders and Carl Tamayo renewed his contract with the Changwon LG Sakers.
