WASHINGTON, D.C.– President Donald Trump has publicly responded to the ongoing impeachment inquiry, stating that he would be prepared to face a trial if the House of Representatives proceeds with articles of impeachment.

Over the past two weeks, more than a dozen individuals have testified in connection with the House inquiry. The proceedings have drawn widespread attention, with testimony addressing various aspects of the administration’s interactions with Ukraine.

Trump has stated that the testimony has not demonstrated misconduct on his part. He has also noted that members of the Republican Party have expressed support for him during the inquiry.

The House Intelligence Committee has announced plans to compile a report during the Thanksgiving recess. This report will summarize the findings from the inquiry and may inform potential next steps by the House Judiciary Committee.

Republican members of Congress have questioned the relevance and motivations behind some of the testimony. They have continued to express support for the president during public hearings.

The House Intelligence Committee’s forthcoming report is expected to play a role in shaping the next phase of the inquiry. Both parties continue to evaluate the developments as the proceedings move forward.
