WASHINGTON, D.C, — President Joe Biden has granted a pardon to a Texas woman who pleaded guilty to a non-violent offense in her teenage years, has since turned her life around, and is now employed in the healthcare industry.
Lashundra Tenneal Wilson, a 49-year-old resident of North Texas is one of the 39 individuals convicted of non-violent offenses across the United States who were granted pardon by the president.
This pardon is part of a series of clemency actions by Biden, which included commuting the sentences of nearly 1,500 individuals.
