MANILA — Kris Aquino has postponed a scheduled medical operation after her doctors in the United States recorded a spike in her blood pressure, which they deemed unsafe for surgery.

Aquino, who is in the US for treatment of multiple autoimmune conditions, shared the update on her verified social media accounts Wednesday. Her medical team advised deferring the procedure until her blood pressure stabilizes within a safe range.

She said she continues to follow prescribed medications and lifestyle adjustments while specialists in immunology, cardiology, and other fields monitor her vital signs and lab results. Aquino added that her sons and relatives remain in close contact, providing support during her treatment.

No new date for the surgery has been announced, and Aquino said she will update fans on her condition and operation schedule through her official social media accounts.
