Shai Gilgeous-Alexander’s home targeted in reported break-in

NICHOLS HILLS, Oklahoma — Police are investigating a burglary that occurred Thursday night at the Nichols Hills home of Oklahoma City Thunder player Shai Gilgeous-Alexander while he was playing in a game against the Washington Wizards.

Officers responded to the residence around 7:45 p.m. after receiving a report of a break-in in the neighborhood north of downtown Oklahoma City.

Police said the suspects fled before officers arrived. Authorities have not confirmed the identity of the residents or disclosed what items were taken.

Officials said there is no ongoing threat to the public.

The Oklahoma City Thunder referred all inquiries about the incident to the Nichols Hills Police Department.
