June Mar Fajardo’s return to the San Miguel Beermen starting lineup helped even the PBA Philippine Cup semifinals series at 2-2 with a dominant 107-82 win over Ginebra.

At the Araneta Coliseum in Manila on Wednesday, San Miguel took control of the game with a strong third-quarter run, securing a decisive victory over Ginebra. Fajardo, who had come off the bench in Games 2 and 3 as a precaution, played a key role in the team’s performance.

Other San Miguel players also contributed heavily to the scoring effort, helping to build and maintain a commanding lead throughout the match.

The win sets up a critical Game 5 on Friday, July 4, also at Araneta Coliseum, where both teams will battle to gain the upper hand in the best-of-seven series.

Coaches from both sides have recognized the intensity and competitiveness of the series as they compete for a coveted spot in the PBA Philippine Cup finals — one of the most prestigious tournaments in the Philippine Basketball Association.
